Student Emergency Fund

Like many others, Mount Union students have been disrupted by the necessary response to COVID-19. For some students, this time period marks a catastrophic financial emergency. So many of you have asked, "How can I help?". In response, a Student Emergency Fund has been established under the umbrella of The Mount Union Fund to aid these students with unexpected and urgent expenses related to the COVID-19 crisis.

How Can I Help?

In an effort to provide much-need financial support to our students with pressing financial needs during the COVID-19 pandemic, we invite you to consider making a gift to the Student Emergency Fund. This special fund has been created specifically to help our most vulnerable students in their time of need. 100% of every dollar given will be used to aid individual students, as they prepare to tackle the rest of their semesters remotely.

Aiding Those Who Need it Most

From travel and moving related expenses and potential unemployment to wifi access, food, rent, and a host of other complications, the Student Emergency Fund will aid our students who need it most. A cross-university team is working to identify students, to respond to requests, and to direct financial assistance to ensure the greatest impact. If you have it in your means to do so, we invite you to join fellow alumni and friends in making a gift to this special emergency fund today.

Give the Gift of Hope

In this time of uncertainty, we are encouraged by the positive, uplifting messages being shared among the Purple Raider community. We acknowledge that the crisis is particularly difficult for our students, especially seniors, whose plans for their final semester and graduation have been drastically altered. With your tangible financial assistance for those facing the most significant hardships, you are making an immediate and direct difference in the lives of these students and providing HOPE when they need it most.
